Why The Council?
We believe that Christian values and virtues, when thoroughly embedded in an organization, are catalysts for performance.
Further, we believe that organizations led with integrity, compassion, and servant leadership inspire greater innovation, engagement, and productivity.
In turn, these qualities optimize overall performance both individually and collectively.
Who Leads the Council?
The Council has been developed by Dr. Mike Armour, who also hosts and facilitates the Council's meetings. A lifelong leader, Dr. Mike is a veteran C-Suite coach who has a stellar reputation for helping top-tier leaders build stronger teams, organizations, and track records.
Who Makes Up the Council?
The Christian Executive Council is a unique forum for top-tier executives and business owners who want to master the ability to
- shape corporate culture around Biblical ethics and principles taught by Jesus
- instill a Christ-friendly atmosphere without needlessly offending non-believing employees, customers, and vendors
- leverage this values-centered workplace to enhance overall organizational performance
How Does the Council Pursue This Goal?
We build a tight-knit, mutually supportive community of Christian believers who share similar levels of organizational responsibility. Monthly meetings devote specific blocs of time to
- providing personal spiritual enrichment
- enhancing insight into the dynamics of corporate culture
- refining tactics and techniques for shaping corporate culture
- assessing social and cultural trends as they impact today's workplace
- providing feedback to individual members on cultural intiatives that they are considering for their organization
How Are Members Selected?
Membership in the Christian Executive Council is by invitation only. These invitations are extended to those who apply for membership and who are vetted against the Council's membership requirements. These include:
- current service as an owner, partner, or C-level executive in an organization with ten or more workers
- a personal relationship with Jesus
- consistent pursuit of Biblical principles and values in all facets of life
- a strong desire for a corporate culture permeated with Christian outlooks and ethics
- willingness to:
- make a one-year commitment to the Christian Executive Council
- attend 80% of the monthly meetings of the Council
- contribute collaboratively and constructively to every meeting
- abide by the Council's Member Pledge
- protect trade-secrets and proprietary information shared in Council meetings
The vetting process reviews information from a potential members application form and from an interview with Dr. Mike Armour, who chairs and facilitates the Council.
